Overview
Program Objective
The objective of the Korean Government Scholarship Program for an Undergraduate Course is to provide international students with the opportunity to conduct advanced studies at higher educational institutions in Korea in order to promote international exchanges in education and mutual friendship between the countries.

Total Candidates for Selection: 100 people from 59countries
Only those who hold a citizenship of the countries in the attachment are eligible for the program.

Academic Programs
Undergraduate degree courses for four years after successfully completing a one-year Korean Language Training.
University transferring is not allowed (e.g. Beginning from the 3rd year is not allowed.)

Fields of Study

4-year undergraduate courses provided by the universities designated by NIIED Not applicable: fields the study period of which exceeds 4 years (e.g. medicine, dentistry, architecture)

Qualifications
Prospective applicant must meet the following qualification criteria:
Must be a citizen of the country to which scholarships are offered, which is also applied to his/her parents. Applicant must not be a holder of Korean citizenship.
Should be under 25 years of age as of March 1, 2011.
Have an adequate health, both physically and mentally. Persons who are pregnant or having severe illness may not apply.
Have finished or be scheduled to finish formal education of elementary, middle, high school as of March 1, 2011. Exceptional acceptance for a person who will have finished high school as of September 1, 2011 and who will be able to have level 3 in TOPIK until then.
Possess above 80% (out of 100%) in a grade point average (G.P.A.) of the whole school years of the high school attended or within top 10% among graduates in the same year.
Not at any time have received a Korean government scholarship for his/her undergraduate study before.
Not have enrolled in an undergraduate course in Korea before.
Preferential selection for applicants who are good at Korean or English.

Notes
Applicants can apply for the program through more than one institution in charge of recommendation of qualified candidates, but s/he SHOULD BE RECOMMENDED by ONLY ONE INSTITUTION.
In case that s/he will be recommended by more than one institution, his/her application is to be rejected; if informed by more than one institution that s/he is selected as one of their candidates, s/he should make a decision as to which recommendation will be effective and let them know it.
English Name Spelling in the application form MUST be exactly the same as in the passport.
One copy of application for issuance of a passport is replaceable for a copy of passport.
Application form and other program materials are to be filled out either in Korean or in English. And all of the materials should be A4 sized; if smaller, attach the material to an additional A4 sized paper; if bigger, fold it up to be an A4 sized one.
Regarding a high school grade tran, it should prove that your academic achievement satisfies 5-(5) above; otherwise, you should submit a certificate issued by the high school, which should include either an official seal of the school or a school principal`s signature.
The documents such as certificates or credentials issued in languages other than Korean or English must include official notarized translation, which is to be put before the original.
Other documents except the ones written on a form prescribed by NIIED should contain their numbers and names on the top right. (ex.High School Diploma)
When you submitting the documents to the institution in charge of selection of candidates, the documents should be arranged in the order of the list of the required documents stated above. Each document can be stapled, but all of the documents should be put together using
clip(s): do not staple them altogether, or do not put them into a transparent file one by one.
Submitted documents will not be returned to the applicant.
Incomplete or incorrect documents are subject to rejection by NIIED.
Scholarship Payment
Scholarship Period: March 1, 2011 ~ February 28, 2016

Scholarship Benefits
Airplane ticket or airfare: The grantees will receive an airplane ticket or be paid an economy class airfare of the shortest route between their country and Korea when they come to Korea, and, thereafter, when they leave Korea after completion of their study.
Monthly Allowance: 800,000 won per month
Tuitions: The full tuition is exempted by NIIED and the entrance fee for the first semester by the host university.
Settlement Allowance: 200,000 won upon arrival
Repatriation Allowance: 100,000 won upon completion of studies
Korean Language Training Expenses
The full costs up to 1 year (NIIED pays directly to the language training institution)
Medical Insurance: The grantees will be provided with health insurance for major accidents and illnesses during their scholarship period.
Notes
NIIED does not compensate fees for the domestic travel both in the grantee`s country and Korea.
Airfare for entry into Korea will not be provided to a grantee that has been staying in Korea for between the confirmation date of selection of scholarship students and the designated entry due (February 28, 2011).
NIIED does not compensate fees for insurance of traveling to and from Korea.
The medical fee is to be reimbursed through the insurance company to the grantee after s/he pays first
Any grantee who gives up his/her study during the scholarship period will not receive airfare and allowance for repatriation except for the cases approved by NIIED such as severance of diplomatic relations, war or other natural disasters.
Any grantee who quits the program in 3 months after one`s entrance into Korea, should refund all scholarship fees (The airfare of arriving Korea, settlement allowance, monthly allowance, Korean language training expenses, etc.).

Erasmus Mundus Scholarships
The Erasmus Mundus programme supports high-quality European Masters Courses, by providing attractive grants for students with excellent academic results from around the world.

Criteria for Category A students (or: Third-Country students):

Third-country nationals, eligible for an Erasmus Mundus Category A scholarship, are citizens from all other countries than: the 27 EU Member States (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Nederlands, Portugal, the UK,Sweden,Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain) and the EEA-EFTA states (Norway, Lichtenstein, Iceland ). In particular, Erasmus-Mundus applications who are not residents of any of the above countries, and who have not carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the above countries, fulfil the requirements of a third country student.

Note that students with multiple nationalities who are citizens of one of the countries listed in the definition, as well as of a non-European country, and who have not spent 12 months in Europe may choose whether they want to apply as European or as third country students.

Category A students awarded with an Erasmus Mundus Scholarships receive a total of approx. €48.000 during the 2 years of studies. This is a full scholarship that should cover yearly tuition fee, living expenses and travel expenses. A more detailed description of the amount will be given to the student as soon as the scholarship has been awarded.

A more detailed description of the amount will be given to the student as soon as the scholarship has been awarded.

Admission Criteria
Applicants need to meet the following admission criteria:
The IMMIT programme is open to students with a Bachelor`s or equivalent undergraduate degree (180 ECTS) either in Management/Economics/Business Administration or in Computer Science/Information System. Students with an engineering degree can be admitted if their previous education includes IT and information systems.
A satisfactory scholastic average, a minimum 3.0 (B) grade-point average in Bachelor`s degree work completed after the first two years.
If you are required an English proficiency test then include an official copy of one of the following English proficiency tests: Academic IELTS (min. 6.5 overall/6.0 on parts), TOEFL (min. paper based: 575, computer based: 233, internet based: 90) or Cambridge Proficiency
An official copy of your GMAT test. The average GMAT score of accepted students is 600. Or an official copy of your GRE test score. Our incoming students usually score above the 75% percentile on the quantitative section.
Students with a relevant Bachelor degree from one of the partner institutions of the Tilburg School of Economics and Management, IAE Aix-en-Provence and Turku University do not need to submit the GMAT/GRE test score. (Note: a GMAT/GRE is however required in case a student wants to qualify for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship Category A or Category B).

Scholarship Description: The International Space University is given funding from industry and government agencies to help support MSc students who are unable to cover all of their tuition fees. Financial aid will be awarded within the limits of funds available, so early applications are highly recommended. Scholarships will start to be awarded in December 2010. Please note that the relevant box on the Confidential Financial Information form of the application must be checked. It is recommended that candidates make a personal effort to raise funds enabling them to attend the program. Such initiatives are taken into consideration when ISU allocates funding.

When submitting your application to ISU, please don’t forget to attach your resume. Your resume may be given by ISU Staff Members to sponsors. However, ISU will not give its sponsors contact information, but will try its best to match applicant’s profiles to sponsor requirements.

The ISU Funding Committee, which includes both faculty and Sponsors, awards funding to applicants whose career goals appear to stand to gain substantial benefit from the ISU MSc programs.
Funding is given for help towards tuition fees only.

The French Government, through its Embassy in Jakarta, has been providing excellence scholarships to Indonesian citizens for more than 29 years. In order to pursue its objective to support Indonesian human resources, the French Embassy will offer scholarships for the year 2010. Information Systems Scholarship Programme 2011, Curtin University – Australia

The Scholarship is available for the normal expected duration of the initial course offered to the successful Scholarship recipient
Study Subject: Computing / Information Technology (IT), Information Management, Management / Administration

Level: UndergraduateScholarship Description: The scholarship is valued at $5,000 in total and will be awarded to students over the period of the original course that the scholarship was offered, for example if it is a three year course they will receive $2,000 in their first year and then $1,500 in the subsequent years.
The Scholarship will be available for the normal expected duration of the initial undergraduate course offered to the successful Scholarship recipient. For example, if the normal expected duration is 600 credits of study, the Scholarship will cover 600 credit points only.
Once the Information Systems Scholarship Programme has been accepted, the scholarship will commence from the first semester of study.
The cash payment of the Scholarship will be paid to the student’s nominated bank account normally in two instalments (pro rata if part-time) per year. Payments occur post census date (Semester 1 approx mid-end April) and in second semester payment will occur post census date (approx mid-end Sept). If the scholarship is commended in Semester 2 then there will be one payment.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for an Information Systems Scholarship Programme:
• Be an international student and hold a valid Student Visa – Higher Education (Subclass 573)
• Have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) into an eligible undergraduate business degree at Curtin University in 2011
• Commencing the first semester of their first undergraduate degree at Curtin University of Technology in semester 1, 2011.

Erasmus Mundus, Master Scholarship in Materials Science Exploiting Large scale Facilities

Overview
The duration of the Mamaself Masters course is two years (120 ECTS credits). The academic programme is split into two years with 60 ECTS credits for each. The language of instruction and examination is English. The student will stay one year in one institution and a second second in another institution. It is not possible to stay the two years at the same site in Munich. The second year will be split in two semesters : the first one at a university, the second one is dedicated to the Master thesis project and can be conducted at another university or at Large Scale Facilities.

Application
Students both from European and non-European countries are welcome to apply for the Master programme. Applicants will be selected by the Mamaself Master Admission Committee, made up of reprentatives of the Consortium.

The application deadline for Non-EU students is 26th January 2011 for an application with fellowship.

B- category : 20.05.2011
20 May 2010 is the deadline for EU students and for Non-EU students who already spent at least 12 month in Europe before applicating to the EM fellowship.

The deadline is prolonged to 31th JMay 2011 for applications without fellowship.

Additional fellowships offered by the consortium are also available.
