BEASISWA S1 DI UNIVERSITAS TEKNOLOGI SYDNEY AUSTRALIA

The Engineering (ICT) International Undergraduate Scholarship offers students the opportunity to obtain an undergraduate qualification at UTS:Engineering. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the student’s year 12 (or equivalent) results. The scholarship is also open to diploma holders.
One student will be selected per semester and the commencement of the scholarship will be the same as the commencement of the student’s Bachelor of Engineering.The closing date is 15 December for students commencing in February and 1 June for students commencing in July. The application form must be submitted together with the International Coursework Application form to either a UTS representative or UTS: International.
The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees commencing from the first semester of study for a period of four years.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must: expect to complete the equivalent year 12 exam in 2007 overseas; meet the normal entry requirements for the Bachelor of Engineering; and obtain an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 6.0 in writing (http://www.ielts.org). The Engineering (ICT) International Undergraduate Scholarship offers students the opportunity to obtain an undergraduate qualification at UTS:Engineering. ASEAN Research Scholars 2008 - National University of Singapore

The Asia Research Institute of NUS invites applications from ASEAN citizens enrolled for a fulltime advanced degree at a university in an ASEAN country (except Singapore) for consideration as ASEAN Research Scholars.
The aim of the fellowship is to enable scholars to make full use of the wide range of resources held in the libraries of NUS and the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies.

ASEAN Research Scholars 2008 are offered to current graduate students working in the Humanities and Social Sciences on Southeast Asian topics, and will allow the recipients to be based at NUS for an ‘in residence fellowship’ for a period of three months.

ASEAN Research Scholars 2008 will be expected to commence on 1 May 2008, and to make a presentation on their work at the Singapore Graduate Forum on Southeast Asian Studies at the end of July 2008.

Successful candidates can expect the following benefits:
• A monthly allowance of SGD$1,750 (inclusive of housing allowance).
• A one time round trip travel subsidy by the most economical and direct route on a reimbursement basis upon being accepted for the fellowship.
• Access to library and computer resources on campus.

The 2-page outline of the research proposal must include the following details:
• Whether the data collection or fieldwork stage of the research has already been completed;
• how the fellowship will contribute to the research;
• the types of sources to be consulted in Singapore;
• proposed work plan during the fellowship.

BEASISWA SINGAPURA: Singapore Stanford Partnership MS Intake 2008

Applications for the MS June 2008 intake for applicants from all nationalities open from 1 Aug 2007 and close on 31 Oct 2007. Applicants whose native language and educational medium is not English should have the TOEFL scores. All applicants are also required to have GRE. (GATE scores are accepted in place of GRE for applicants from India.) An interview with a SSP faculty representative is necessary as part of the application procedure. Foreign applicants can complete the Pre-Application form and fax it with a copy of their latest exam results/transcript to the SSP Office by 30 September to arrange for an interview appointment in early November. Applications are invited for scholarships funded by the british Government for Postgraduate study in the UK during the 2008/09 academic year. This year up to 35 full scholarships are offered for one year Master degrees. Asian development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program

Qualified citizens of developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who intend to persue postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields are invented to apply for scholarships under the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program. Upon successful completion of the graduate program, the scholars are expected to return to their countries and contribute to its socioeconomic development. Community College Summit Initiative Program (AMINEF)

This new international educational exchange program enables individuals from Indonesia to study at a community college in the United States to develop professional skills. Eligible fileds are Agriculture, Applied Engineering, Business Management and Administration; Health Professions, including Nursing; Information Technology, Media, and Tourism and Hospitality Management.
To apply to the program, candidates must:
1. Have completed a high school education and have a valid high school diploma;
2. be currently employed or have relevant work experience in the field in which they are applying;
3. have English language skills that provide a basis for enrolling in academic coursework following approximately 8 weeks of intensive English language study in the US;
4. submit a complete application (original one and two copies);
and
5. have an Institutional or Prediction TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent.
Note: Applicants with Bachelor’s degree are only eligible if they are applying in a field different from the field of their degree. Applicants with MA or PhD degrees are not eligible to participate.

The program will provide funding for round trip airface to the US; a living allowance during English language, academic, and practical training program components; tution cost; health insurance; and cultural enhancement activities.

Netherlands Fellowship Programme
The Netherlands Fellowship Programme is intended to deepen and broaden the knowledge and professional skills of mid-career professionals to enable them to make a better contribution to the development of their organizations and their countries.

Prospective participants can obtain NFP application forms from the Dutch diplomatic representation in their home country, to whom the forms should be returned.

To be eligible for this fellowship, candidates should be able to submit proof of admission to the academic programme for which they are applying.

In addition, candidates should be working in a developing country in a development-related position, and be nominated by their employer, who pledges to continue payment of their salary and hold their job for them while they are studying in the Netherlands.

Admission requirements MSc programme
The official admission requirements for the UNESCO-IHE MSc programmes are:

A bachelors degree in a field related to the programme the applicant would like to join (for requirements specific to this specialization, please refer to the participant’s profile section).
In principle, candidates should have a minimum of three years of practical or research experience since graduation. All applications are, however, considered on their individual merits.
English language requirements: UNESCO-IHE does not require a language certificate from native English speakers of the following countries: Australia, Botswana, Canada, Cameroon (English-speaking region), Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, India, Ireland, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda (English-speaking region), South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, UK, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
All other candidates must provide a certificate of proficiency in English from either the Educational Testing Service (TOEFL) or the British Council (IELTS). The IELTS score must be 6.0 overall on the academic test.

UNESCO-IHE reserves the right to reject other certificates of proficiency in English that cannot be readily established as equivalent to the IELTS or TOEFL certificates.

Important note

UNESCO-IHE may assess applications before receiving the results of an English test. If accepted, applicants will receive a conditional letter of admission, which may be used to apply for a fellowship. Once the test results are received, if they are sufficient, applicants will be sent a formal (unconditional) letter of admission. However, UNESCO-IHE must receive satisfactory test scores before applicants may start a programme.

Admission requirements PhD programme
The main requirement for a PhD study at UNESCO-IHE is that candidates should hold an UNESCO-IHE MSc degree with high qualification. An MSc degree from another university or institute, equal to the standard of UNESCO-IHE, may also be acceptable. If a candidate is not yet in the possession of an MSc degree, but has an interesting research proposal and proven track record, he or she may be admitted to the UNESCO-IHE MSc programme first, as part of and in preparation for the PhD research. PhD candidates will only be accepted after their research proposal has been approved by UNESCO-IHE’s Academic Board. The PhD degree of UNESCO-IHE is awarded jointly with a relevant Dutch University, which ensures that it is embedded in the prevailing higher education legislation.

KAUST DISCOVERY SCHOLARSHIPS

The KAUST Discovery Scholarship is the general scholarship program of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

This program is designed to ensure that any highly talented student who is qualified and eligible to enroll in KAUST will receive full financial support while at the University. Those who receive a Discovery Scholarship will receive full tuition support, a living stipend, and summer and career enrichment programs.

KAUST will offer Discovery Scholarships to all KAUST students – an exceptional level of support intended to attract gifted and talented students from Saudi Arabia and from other countries around the world.
KAUST will offer a pre-enrollment version of this general scholarship program to students attending first-university or bachelor’s degree programs. KAUST will provide financial support to pre-enrollment Discovery Scholarship recipients at their home institutions prior to the University’s opening. Upon graduation, these students will enter KAUST as master’s degree students in September 2009 and 2010 to complete their graduate studies on a fully funded scholarship.

Recipients of the KAUST Discovery Scholarship represent future leaders in science, engineering and technology.

Students may apply for a KAUST Discovery Scholarship directly, or they may be nominated by a professor at their institution.

Emerging Markets Scholarships at London School of Business and Finance 2007/2008 Intake

London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) offers Scholarships for Masters Programmes and Undergraduate Programmes. Scholarship Emerging Markets has been lengthened until 31 Augusts 2007 for acceptance October 2007 and 30 Novembers 2007 for acceptance March 2008. Talented candidate and ambition has special opportunity to get cutting expense of study equal to 50%.
