• Be a South Carolina resident and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

• Have graduated from a S.C. high school* (S.C. home school graduates, see reverse for additional requirements.)
• Have graduated from a S.C. high school with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average on the Uniform Grading Scale
• Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale
• Have earned a total of 60 credit hours for third-year eligibility (45**)

Undergraduate scholarship Description: South Carolina home school graduates are eligible for the LIFE Scholarship if they meet one of the following approved home school programs as defined in Sections 59-65-40, 59-65-45 and 59-65-47 of State Statutes: 59-65-40 Homeschooling programs: Parents or guardians may teach their children at home if the instruction is approved by the district board of trustees of the district in which the children reside.
