Master Scholarships Politecnico di Itali
Politecnico di Torino, Italy, Alessandria Campus Level 1 Master Specialization Call for 2008/2009 academic year. The project offers the possibility of obtaining foreign students scholarships and other benefits to graduate Politecnico di Torino, attending courses in Alessandria Technology campus. The initiative promotes Politecnico di Torino and Comune di Alessandria.

In the 2008/2009 academic year, applications for the next 1 level
Specializing Master courses will be taken:
Jewellery Engineering
General information on the level of Master 1 Specializing in jewelry
Engineering course
Location: Alessandria
Language, where the courses: Italian and English
Length: 1 year, 60 credits ECTS.
Activities will begin in November 2008.

REQUIREMENTS
With no Italian citizenship or Italian citizen who received a high school diploma abroad
Knowledge of the English language, preferably demonstrates international certification
Not having enrolled in Level 1 Specializing captain or Master of Science course Politecnico di Torino before the 2008/2009 academic year
Not being a recipient of other scholarships, Italian or foreign.
Academic requirements
In order to be accepted in the 1-level Master Specialization program, applicants must have a university education is equivalent to Bachelor of Science degree, which is approximately equivalent to three or four years after high school, depending on the number of school years.

Receiving the degree Politecnico di Torino
To go to the Politecnico di Torino, students must achieve a total of 60 credits, including final exams and dissertations. The time required for graduates is about one year (from November 2007 to November 2008). Nevertheless, the effective duration also depends on each student’s potential. Note also that the time required for a mandatory course in the Italian does not take into account the estimated duration of the program.
Please note that scholarship recipients must attend their course for its entire length (1 year - 60 credits).
SCHOLARSHIPS
The selection criteria
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their previous academic career and about his biography.
The amount of scholarships
Gross amount Alessandria Student Scholarship is 10000 euros for the full period. The exact amount depends on the net tax conditions of each individual student, which can be verified only after the arrival of the student.
The size of scholarships not be increased if a student takes longer than the graduate indicated.
The allocation of scholarships depends on the submission within 10 days from the date of arrival in Italy student, from the original documentation, which must conform to the documentation attached to the online form.
Payment of scholarships happens periodically. First Party depends on the possession of the relevant documentation (residence permit, Italian Fiscal Code, and bank account in the name of the recipient scholarships), all available on arrival in Italy, for this reason, the first batch is not paid in a moment of their arrival at the Politecnico di Torino But within the next month.
Requirements to retain scholarship Given that it is impossible to combine the benefits received from more than one scholarship, students who are assigned another study in obtaining grants Alessandria Student Scholarship must immediately notify the Politecnico di Torino. Payment of scholarships will be suspended if the academic performance of the recipient does not respond satisfactorily.
