SINGAPORE: ASEAN Graduate Scholarship 2007-2008

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore will be awarding a number of ASEAN Graduate Scholarships in academic year 2007-2008 to finance outstanding candidates who are nationals (citizens or permanent residents) of member countries of ASEAN*(except Singapore) to pursue a designated full-time Masters degree programme by coursework at the Universit
Applicants should have :
(a) an excellent academic record;
(b) a very good command of the English language;
(c) at least 2 years of working experience; and
(d) an acceptable GMAT score (applicable only to applicants of programmes indicated in paragraph 8 below).
No award will be made unless there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
ASEAN Graduate Scholarship 2007 scholarship is tenable for 4 Trimesters (approximately 16 months) for the MBA programme, and 1 year for other programmes. Successful candidates are expected to complete their studies within the tenable period with no bond attached to the scholarship.
Offered to pursue a full-time Masters Degree by coursework in one of the following programmes:
(a). General MBA
(b) Master of Arts (Contemporary China)
(c) Master of Mass Communication
(d) Master of Science in one of the following disciplines :
Accountancy, Applied Finance, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Communication Software & Networks, Communications Engineering, Computer Control & Automation, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Digital Media Technology, Embedded Systems, Environmental Engineering, Financial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Information Studies, Information Systems, International Business, International Construction Management, International Political Economy, International Relations, Knowledge Management, Logistics, Management, Maritime Studies, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics & Processing of Materials, Microelectronics, Offshore Engineering, Photonics, Power Engineering, Precision Engineering, Signal Processing, Smart Product Design, Strategy, Strategic Studies, Technology Management
Each scholarship shall cover the following :
(a) A monthly stipend of S$1,350.00;
(b) A one-time book allowance of S$500.00;
(c) Tuition fees and all compulsory miscellaneous fees, health insurance, and other approved fees, allowances and expenses;
(d) Cost of one overseas Business Study Mission undertaken within the tenable period of the scholarship;
(e) Cost of travel from home country to Singapore on award of the scholarship; and
(f) Cost of travel from Singapore to home country on successful completion of the course of study within the tenable period of the scholarship.
