University of Kent Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2011
The University of Kent has established a scholarship fund of £1.5M to support research students. This fund allows the University to provide support for more than 100 students in any one year.

The School Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science is offering one University Postgraduate Research Scholarship which will cover tuition fees at the Home/EU rate plus a maintenance grant of £13,590 in 2011-12 .

These scholarships will be offered for one year in the first instance, renewable for a maximum period of three and a half years subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)
The EPSRC offers postgraduate awards for research or advanced courses by means of quota allocations and open competition. Some research awards are available in collaboration with industry.
